Another sign of getting old

I was browsing my Facebook account when I chanced upon one particular album posted by my ex-colleague at SRC, Lillian. I was surprised to find the following hideous picture of myself with my SRC colleagues in that album.

Lunch at mysterious restaurant

The problem is, I have no friggin’ impression of when and where this picture was taken!!! Going by the attendees, this photo should be taken sometime in 2004. Gosh! 2004 feels like eons ago.

Come to think of it, could it be Thai Express at Plaza Singapura? It’s rather unsettling not being able to recall the purpose behind this particular gathering.

I think I’m going to have to agonize over this for a while. Oh well.

Exactly one year ago…

… I was at Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm in Mornington Peninsula picking big and juicy strawberries.

… I had a good lunch in Portsea, Sorrento.

… I also had a brilliant time baking basking under the sun at the beaches in Portsea.

Beautiful skies and sea

Has it really been one year since my trip to Melbourne? Where did the past 366 days go? For some inexplicable reason I feel a tinge of sadness when I looked through the photos we took in Melbourne last year. I miss those days. I’d think of the many beautiful places that I visited and wonder if I’ll ever get the chance to visit them again. That’s the problem with travelling. It makes you feel terrible about having to go back home to face reality (read: work).

Anyway, my Melbourne photos are finally ready for viewing! I know, it took me one whole year to do it but it’s better late than never, yeah? Oh yes, the pictures come with captions too so now you know what took me so long. Girls, go check your email if you haven’t done so.

Perhaps part of the reason why I’m so hung up on the Melbourne trip is because I’m officially 28 now. I spent my 27th birthday in Melbourne last year and now I’m one freakin’ year older.

AND It doesn’t help that someone just had to remind me to update my website info.

November updates

Can you believe Christmas is only 33 days away? Where did the year go? Oh and I have absolutely no idea what to make for the girls for our yearly Christmas celebration. One more month to go and I haven’t got anything in mind! Gosh!

Time really flies. It seemed only yesterday when we had the BBQ party at East Coast Park. It was fun and a bunch of us stayed up all night playing Bang! and spooking ourselves with some really disturbing ghost stories. Speaking of Bang!, the expansion pack I ordered from Amazon is finally here!

Now we can have 8 players and a hell lot more complicated rules to remember. Anyone game for a few rounds of Bang? By the way, I’m referring the card game and not something else, ok? Haha.

I want to thank the girls for celebrating my birthday for me last Thursday. Thank you all for your wishes and yes, I’ll certainly keep a lookout for a new job and a prince charming too. *lol* I’ll be turning 28 in three days’ time and honestly, it’s rather depressing. Two more years before I hit the big 30. *Sighs* I realise I’m beginning to reminisce more about my school days than before. Is this a sign of getting old?
